Everything you need to know about how we ship your orders across India and from international suppliers.

ShopGenie sources approximately 80% of its catalogue from international suppliers. Please read this section carefully before placing an order for an imported product.

3.1 Order Processing Times

Orders are typically processed within 1 to 2 business days after payment confirmation. Processing includes verification of payment, quality checks, and packaging.

Orders are not processed, shipped, or delivered on Sundays or public holidays declared by the Government of India.

3.2 Important Note About Imported Products

  • Estimated delivery for imported products: 2 to 3 weeks from the date of order confirmation.
  • In some cases, due to customs clearance delays, international shipping disruptions, or supplier processing times, delivery may take up to one calendar month.
  • ShopGenie handles all customs formalities on your behalf and covers all customs duties and import fees. The price displayed at checkout is the final price – no additional charges will apply at delivery.
  • You will receive a tracking number once the product ships from our international supplier. Please allow 48 to 72 hours for tracking information to update on the carrier portal.
  • Products may be shipped from multiple origin countries depending on the supplier. Origin country information is displayed on each product listing.

3.3 Shipping Rates

Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on the following factors: the weight and volumetric dimensions of the package; the delivery destination (PIN code); the product type (domestic or imported); and the selected payment method. Customers paying via COD will incur an additional handling fee, which is disclosed at checkout.

3.4 Delivery Estimates (After Dispatch Within India)

The estimates below apply after the product has been shipped within India. For imported products, please add the international shipping transit time of 2 to 3 weeks to the domestic estimate below.

These are estimates provided by our primary courier partner, Delhivery. They are not guaranteed delivery dates. Actual delivery times may be affected by volume surges (e.g., sale events), public holidays, or force majeure events.

3.5 Shipment Tracking

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation via email and/or SMS containing the Air Waybill (AWB) tracking number and a direct link to the carrier's tracking portal. You may also track your order through the 'Track Order' section on our website. Please allow 24 to 48 hours after dispatch for tracking information to appear on the carrier website.

3.6 Multiple Shipments

If you order multiple items sourced from different suppliers or locations, they may be shipped separately. You will receive separate tracking information for each shipment. No additional shipping charges will apply for split shipments unless otherwise disclosed at checkout.

3.7 Incorrect Shipping Address and Undeliverable Packages

Please ensure your shipping address – including the full street address, area, city, state, and PIN code – is accurate and complete at the time of purchase. ShopGenie is not responsible for delays or non-delivery caused by incorrect or incomplete address information provided by the customer.

  • Address Modification: Once an order has been marked as dispatched in our system, delivery address changes may not be possible. If you notice an error, contact us immediately at shopgenie.info@gmail.com or +91 9022970269.
  • Undeliverable Packages: If a package is returned to our warehouse due to an incorrect address, repeated customer unavailability, or refusal at the doorstep, ShopGenie reserves the right to deduct the outbound and return shipping costs from any refund issued.

3.8 Transit Damage and Lost Shipments

ShopGenie covers products that are genuinely damaged in transit. You are strongly advised to inspect the external condition of your package at the time of delivery. If you receive a package with visible external damage, you may refuse delivery or note the damage on the courier's delivery receipt.

Claims for transit damage or lost shipments must be reported to shopgenie.info@gmail.com within 48 hours of the expected delivery date, with supporting photographs. Verified claims will be resolved with a replacement or refund as applicable.

3.9 Shipping Partners

We primarily ship through Delhivery and other trusted courier partners depending on your location and the nature of the product. For international legs of imported shipments, we partner with global logistics providers. ShopGenie reserves the right to use alternative courier partners to ensure the best available service for your location.

3.10 Force Majeure

Delivery times may be affected by circumstances beyond ShopGenie's reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather events, natural disasters, COVID-19 or other pandemic-related restrictions, civil unrest, industrial action, government-imposed restrictions, or failures in third-party logistics networks. We will proactively communicate significant delays to affected customers.
